OVERVIEW :
The Fann Mountains or “Fans” (as experienced tourists, climbers and travelers have long called them) is one of the most beautiful areas of the Pamir-Alai. Here, between the mountains, there is a scattering of incredibly beautiful lakes (in total there are about 40 of them), bordered by the highest rocky peaks with sharp outlines that do not remove their snow crown for a long time. Here, almost lunar landscapes are animated by the subtleties of the trunks of junipers, twisted by the strange power of the wind and the sun into incredible figures. Here above the Mudny - really muddy lakes - the magnificent peak Energia and Chimtarga rise. The trekking takes place along the most scenic hiking trails of the Fan Mountains: crystal lakes, deep gorges, simple passes, turbulent mountain rivers against the backdrop of the unusually beautiful five thousand Pamirs. The highest point of the mountain hike is the Chimtarga pass (4780 m).
